June 14, 2025
Jesus says, "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot hear them now." Through this pacing of his revelation unfolding over time Jesus invites us to a life of faith built on slow growth.  I believe this steady slow growth in faith is what gives us at St. Michael’s the ability to be open to one another, to delight in one another, and to the surprising truths we uncover. This growth in faith allows us to love without counting the cost, and it propels us to work for peace because we already know the peace of Christ living here within us. Our job is to help bring that peace to a fearful and anxious world.

I'll see you in church,
Paula+

Deacon’s Corner

St. Michaels Family,

I don’t know about you, but now that the Fundraiser is over, I can breathe a little easier. Thank you to all who participated and helped make it a real success. I know Scott and Rick are happy, now that the band can take a little break from practicing, but we will be right back at it soon to get ready for our next gig at St. Stephens on June 28th for their oldies night. Try and make it if you can. I’ll have more details as the date gets closer.
May 23rd was my six-month anniversary for being ordained a Deacon. As I look back, I feel that I have kept busy, but I know there is so much more I need to do.
Remember to continue to pray for one other and to be mindful of the needs of others.

Peace,
Deacon Rob+

Good news June 7, 2025

Memorial Lamps - The experience of the pandemic is highlighting what is truly important to our community. It is apparent that the need for fresh flowers on the altar each week is not a burning desire. With that in mind, we will halt the regular purchase of flowers but continue to accept memorial donations for lamps. These donations support our worship supplies such as bread, wine, linens, candles, and oils. Please contact Tracey on reserving a date. Lamps are $7 each 6/29 (two); 6/22 (one)

Let us pray for peace: Eternal God, in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn but the sword of righteousness, no strength known but the strength of love: So mightily spread abroad your Spirit, that all peoples may be gathered under the banner of the Prince of Peace, as children of one Father; to whom be dominion and glory, now and for ever. Amen. (BCP pg 815)

Prayer in the Park

This Wednesday, June 18, we will meet in
